When dealing with car insurance companies, it is often quite difficult for you, as the consumer to know exactly what is covered in your policy.  To be honest, I had no idea what was in my policy until I actually took a look at it and then I actually understood what was covered and what wasn’t.  I encourage all of you to do the same, it is amazing what many car insurance companies do not cover at all and to be honest, I think that towing and labor is something that every single car insurance company should cover.

If you run out of gas, have car problems, get in a car accident or have a flat tire, your car insurance company should definitely cover all of the towing and labor costs, but you would be amazed at how many companies do not cover this and that’s sad.

So really, look over your policy and make sure that you know exactly what is covered and what isn’t.  It could be the matter of you having to pay for through the nose or not!
