While there are a ton of different types of tickets out there that can affect your car insurance premium, what about parking tickets?  Do parking tickets actually affect your car insurance premium?  Most of the time, people do not even think about that when they do get a parking ticket but that is the first thing that I think about whenever I get any tickets.

Parking tickets are some of the only tickets that you can get that do not affect your car insurance premium most of the time.  That does not mean that you want to get them by any means, but I can tell you for sure that your car insurance premium will not usually go up if you get a couple parking tickets.

Now that we have talked about asking your car insurance agent, let’s move onto some of the tradition discounts that you might not be taking advantage of but that you should be.  One of the first is discounts through your job. 

To be honest, there are many different companies that offer their employees discounts on everything from car insurance to phone plans – why not ask and find out?   Another thing that you should know is that there are multi-car discounts.  What this means is that you can actually put multiple cars under one policy and you will get a discount.

Finding car insurance discounts can be difficult, however if you know exactly where to look, I can promise that you are going to find a discount that brings your premium down to a more affordable bill!

When it comes to saving money, everyone is trying to save money at this moment.  Although, there are a ton of different things that you can do to save yourself some cash, did you know that there are actually a ton of different discounts that you might not be taking advantage of?  That is what we are going to talk about in the next few blogs.

Firstly, always make sure that you are looking at your car insurance premium.  This is absolutely going to assist in making sure that you, as a customer are getting the best deal.  If you have seen ads that other companies are offering up discounts to steal business away, why not inquire?

One thing that I learned is that it never, ever hurts to ask and you should absolutely be asking your car insurance company what discounts they can offer – that’s the first step.
