Auto Warranties, The Low Down: 1

istock-000005537869xsmall1Auto Warranties – what are they?  They are typically something that you get whenever you purchase a brand new car, but do you really know exactly what they cover and exactly what the warranty is all about.  That is what we are going to talk about in the next couple blogs, exactly what the warranty is, what it covers and how long it lasts.

Auto warranties actually come in two different kinds if you are buying a new car and the first one is going to be bumper-to-bumper.  This covers everything but things that wear and tear, like the brakes or the tires.  So if something falls off?  It is covered under the warranty.

If you opt for a powertrain warranty, that actually just covers everything that makes the car move, like the engine as well as the transmission.  More in the next blog about how long they last!
